After an extra few hours spent re-drawing the lost characters (thanks to my own carelessness in Photoshop >_>), it’s finally finished! The first project for the class Character Design For Animation requires us to work heavily with silhouettes: we’re given a random title and a setting for a fictional video game by another student, to create (from left to right) a hero/protagonist, a minion/enemy, and the villain/final boss. One of the three titles given to me was "Master Journeyman" set in the Wild West, and I was quick to pick it - I had a lot of fun working with a Western motif!
Neither oloring nor shading was required for the final product, but considering I’m actually pretty happy with these designs I’ll definitely get to coloring them sometime.
The big cloaked villain reminds me of the Lich from Adventure Time. This is seriously awesome, I love the action in every pose, so dynamic! ALSO I'm super happy to see you posting again!
they do say things should have recognizable silhouettes ^^ I usually think more in terms of potential action figures.. These are really REALLY coold esigns.even ifthey're cartoonier than I prefer whenI'm getting picky, I'd love to see any of them in something on the tv :V wild west necro fantasy.. it works so well.
