The second half of the story pitch, featuring the three animals that tag along on Momotaro's journey. These were a lot of fun!

First off, I've gotta say that I absolutely love these character designs! You managed to give each animal its own unique look and personality. From the expressions alone, I can tell how each animal behaves: The dog is very loyal and obedient, the monkey is mischievous and opportunistic, and the pheasant is conceited and believes himself to be above all others.

I also like how the pheasant's colors are bright and varied, which I believe complements his "full of himself" attitude.

That being said, I think the only thing I can see that needs improvement in this picture is the dog's snarling expression. It can stand to be a bit more exaggerated, which will help convey the emotion of anger better. But I know you can pull it off. :)

Well, that's all I have to say. Wish you luck on the rest of your class assignments!

of course you always have that but in this case it's important because isn't like 90 percent of the story their bickering? I can just SEE that.
I was just watching a Lupin III thing where they kept calling him a monkey, and someone said they were the dog hunting him down.. and I was just thinking 'now we need that .. what was it.. a pheasant? a pheasant or a horse. and goemon can be momotaro'
